Kenny Pleasant
The short version

They told me to
wait until I was ready.
I bought anyway.

Laid off as an ironworker in the 2008 crash with three toddlers at home. Licensed the next year, into the worst market in a generation. Drove fifty miles each way to a Bellevue brokerage because that is where the million dollar homes were, and everyone I knew thought I had lost it.

The record

How I got here.

2008

Laid off as an ironworker

Five years into a trade I meant to do for five years. Three toddlers, a new mortgage, and the worst housing crash in modern memory.

Puget Sound, Washington
2009

Licensed, against everyone’s advice

Nine straight weekends sitting the same open house produced a $1.1 million deal and a $33,000 commission. Then nine months without another closing.

Bellevue, Washington
2013

Started wholesaling and flipping

Moved from advising on assets to trading them, then to holding them from 2018.

King County, Washington
2021

Founded NextHome Prolific

Opened my own brokerage, built as a place agents build ownership rather than rent a desk.

Greater Seattle, Washington
2026

Published the book and launched the program

No Money No Problem out 1 July, 404 pages. Agent Revolution opens nationwide on 1 October, turning the mentoring I had been doing one agent at a time into a program.

The book

No Money
No Problem

They didn’t give you the roadmap. This is it. A practical guide for agents who want to stop depending entirely on commissions, and for first-time investors who feel priced out. How to structure deals without your own money or credit, and how to turn a commission business into assets that work without you. Not a motivation book.

On camera

Seattle,
explained honestly.

I make videos for people deciding whether to move here and for people deciding whether to sell. No hype, no market cheerleading, just what the numbers and the neighborhoods actually look like right now.
